1-A Forklift Operator Competence Training

Up to 6 hrs  - Max 10 Participants

Intended for operators with at least one or more years of experience: (Operators who have not had formal training, but learned on-the-job or operators who received formal training three or more years ago.

Training is classroom-based, reviewing the safe and correct operating procedures and applicable legislated requirements). As operators are already considered experienced in the actual operation of the lifting equipment, practical instruction is expected to be minimized. Regardless of length of experience, our instructor will test the operators to confirm that they have sufficient practical knowledge and skills and understand critical operational elements.

It is designed to provide the student with the knowledge necessary to safely operate lifting equipment, as a “competent person” (as defined in Section 1 of the OHSA).
